WorkShops
Want to make films but only have your phone? Perfect—no fancy camera required. Join our hands-on beginner workshop and discover how to transform your smartphone into a powerful filmmaking tool.
Taking place on Wednesday, 30th July, from 9:30 AM to 4 PM at Rocket Science Media, Common Quay St., Wexford, this free workshop will teach you to shoot cinematic footage with simple techniques, get hands-on experience with professional gear like lenses and gimbals, and explore camera apps including the Blackmagic camera app. You’ll plan, shoot, and edit a short documentary right in the class, then polish your film directly on your phone using easy editing apps like CAPCUT. No prior experience? No problem—just bring your phone and your creativity.
Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot today and kickstart your filmmaking journey. For more information and to register, visit Screen Wexford. This event is proudly organised in collaboration with the Dublin Smartphone Film Festival and supported by Wexford County Council and the County Wexford Arts Department.
